The Highly 'Tooned' World of Paul M. Ellender

Originally planned as a 10th Anniversary Special for 'The Rallyist', work on this new project commenced in mid-2017. However, by 2019, with nearly half of the book completed, it became clear that 'Rallyist-Art' had evolved significantly over the years. A series of commissioned projects had introduced a more refined style to the cartoons, prompting a significant shift in the direction of the new cartoon book. The decision was made to blend the artistic style from the commissions with that of the cartoons, plus of course the humour.

The result, after initial drafts, revisions, and two years of work, was 'Rallyist Remastered', released in 2023.

After receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback at the 2007 Autosport Show regarding the cartoons, and fielding questions from the public and fellow exhibitors about the availability of a book, plans were set in motion to create 'The Rallyist'. When finding a publisher for a Rally-Cartoon book proved impossible, Paul boldly decided to take the project to the next level by choosing to self-publish the book.

In 2009, 'The Rallyist' was published.
